Where do we live ?

We found a friendly accomodation in Rhosddu Road, which is located in Wrexham.

We chosed this accomodation for three reasons. Firstly, it is situated 15 mins walk to university and town centre. It was primordial for us, because we didn't know if there were lots of public transports, and we won't have our cars during these three months. Secondly, there are five bedrooms, which means on the one hand that we will have our own rooms and on the other hand that we will meet other students. In our opinion, it is important to meet people who don't speak french to improve our english. Thirdly, the rent per personn is not very high, which will allow us to travel in England and have other activities.

Glyndwr University

We are four students who go to Glyndwr University. This University is located in Wrexham, which is a small city where lived 42 571 inhabitants in 2001. It is an industrial city and its economic situation is bad since the closure of the beer industry.

The University is very impressive, there are more than 8 000 students !
Why are there so many students ? Because Glyndwr University has different formations like Health & Psychology, Buisness, Engineering, Computing....
