Penrhyn Castle is a country house in Llandegai, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales, in the form of a Norman castle.

The castle of Chirk Castle is the south of Wrexam, was built in 1295 and is the property of National Trust (Conservation organisation in England, Wales and Northern Ireland)

The Pontcysyllte aqueduct is a navigable aqueduct that carries the Llangollen Canal over the valley of the River Dee in Wrexham County Borough in north east Wales. Completed in 1805, it is the longest and highest aqueduct in Great Britain.

The aqueduct, built by Thomas Telford and William Jessop (Civil engineer), is 336 yd (307 m)long.

Erddig Hall is a stately home on the outskirts of Wrexham. The house is set in superb gardens, including two long canals, one of which you see here.

Alyn Waters Country Park Information

Alyn Waters is the largest country park in the Wrexham area, Alyn Waters is situated in the beautiful Alyn Valley next to Wrexam. The Park has a variety of paths for walkers and cyclists.

The park Welcomes a important biodiversity : Woodland, grassland and riverside...
Species recorded at Alyn Waters include kingfishers, buzzards, kestrels, foxes, adders, grass snakes, smooth newts and a variety of bats.
